The 2025 9th International Conference on Traffic Engineering and Transportation Systems Successfully Held at Dalian University of Technology
On September 27, 2025, the 2025 9th International Conference on Traffic Engineering and Transportation Systems (ICTETS 2025) was successfully held at the Lingshui Main Campus of Dalian University of Technology. The conference was hosted by Dalian University of Technology, organized by the Department of Transportation and Logistics, School of Infrastructure Engineering, and co-organized by the AEIC Academic Exchange Center. Prof. Shaopeng Zhong from the School of Economics and Management and Prof. Zhong Wang from the School of Infrastructure Engineering jointly served as the conference chairs. Numerous experts and scholars from Tongji University, Chang’an University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Southeast University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Dalian Maritime University, Wuhan University of Technology, Shanghai Maritime University, the Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, and other universities and research institutions gathered to engage in in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge topics in the field of traffic engineering and transportation systems.

Opening Ceremony
At the opening ceremony, the conference chair and Director of the Department of Transportation Engineering at the School of Infrastructure Engineering, Prof. Zhong Wang, presided over the meeting.

The parallel sessions featured two major themes: “Intelligent Transportation Systems and Vehicle Trajectory Prediction” and “Maritime Traffic and Freight Hub Optimization,” chaired and evaluated by Assistant Prof. Yunhai Gong from Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Associate Prof. Hongmei Zhou from Dalian University of Technology, and Associate Professors Xiaoyan Xie and Rong Cheng from Dalian Maritime University. Scholars from the Transportation Planning Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, the Yangtze River Three Gorges Navigation Administration, Xi’an University of Technology, Shanghai Maritime University, Civil Aviation University of China, and other institutions actively participated, sharing multiple innovative research results with enthusiastic on-site interaction.
In the excellent report awards, Zonghao Rao from the Transportation Planning Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport and Kerong Li from Dalian Maritime University received the Outstanding Oral Presentation Award in the “Intelligent Transportation Systems and Vehicle Trajectory Prediction” session, while Hao Li from Wuhan University of Technology and Wenjie Lan from Shanghai Maritime University received the same honor in the “Maritime Traffic and Freight Hub Optimization” session.
