The 2024 8th International Conference on Traffic Engineering and Transportation Systems (ICTETS 2024), hosted by Dalian University of Technology, organized by the Department of Transportation and Logistics, School of Infrastructure Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, and co- organized by the AEIC Academic Exchange Center, was successfully held on September 21, 2024 at the main campus of DUT in Lingshui. The conference attracted more than 100 experts and scholars from Tongji University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Sichuan University, Wuhan University of Technology, Ningbo University, Sun Yat-sen University and other universities and research institutes, and the atmosphere of academic exchanges at the site was strong.

The main session was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Zhong Wang, Director of the Department of Transportation and Logistics, School of Infrastructure Engineering, Dalian University of Technology.

Prof. Gang Li, Dean of the School of Construction Engineering of Dalian University of Technology, made an opening speech and warmly welcomed all the experts and scholars present.

Finally, JingZhang from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, YaoJiang from Sun Yat-sen University and YufanChen from Southwest Jiaotong University won the Best Oral Presentation Award.

The 2024 8th International Conference on Traffic Engineering and Transportation Systems (ICTETS 2024) has been successfully concluded.
