Prof. Shaopeng Zhong Dalian University of Technology, China | Profile: Dr. Shaopeng Zhong is an associate professor in School of Transportation and Logistics at Dalian University of Technology and the Deputy Director of the Traffic Engineering Laboratory. In 2005, he received his bachelor's degree in transportation engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China. In 2010, he obtained his doctorate from Southeast University, China. He is a visiting scholar in urban and regional planning at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2008-2010). He is a guest professor at Technical University of Denmark (2017-2018). He has more than 20 years of professional experience in the field of sustainable urban planning and transportation planning, land use and transportation integration modeling, urban transportation network analysis, transportation network reliability, road congestion pricing, logic-driven transport big data analysis, and shared autonomous mobility. He has written and published three books and more than thirty scientific papers in the top journals in the field of transportation planning, such as Transportation Research Part A, Transportation Research Part C, Transportation Research Part E, Journal of Transport Geography, Computers, Environment and Urban Systems, Journal of Transportation Engineering-ASCE, IET Intelligent Transport Systems, and Journal of Transport and Land Use. He is a member of China Intelligent Transportation Systems Association Youth Expert Committee and a member of Intelligent Transportation Professional Committee of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. He is the guest editor of the Journal of Transport and Land Use (SSCI index) and Journal of Advanced Transportation (SCI index), editorial board member of Transportation Letters: The International Journal of Transportation Research (SCI/SSCI index), Transportation Management, Journal of Civil Engineering Inter Disciplinaries, and Frontiers in Future Transportation (Transportation Emissions). He is the chairman of the urban planning and travel behavior technical committee of the World Transport Convention. He is the organizing committee and scientific committee of several international conferences, such as International Workshop on Integrated Land Use and Transport Modeling (ILUTM), 6th International Symposium on Travel Demand Management (TDM), Transportation Research Congress (WRC), The 2017 International Conference on Economic Development and Management Engineering (EDME). |
Prof. Ming Wei Civil Aviation University of China, China | Profile: Wei Ming, professor, master supervisor, has long been committed to research in the fields of civil aviation and transportation big data, complex system modeling and optimization of intelligent transportation. In recent years, he has presided over one national, seven provincial and more than 20 municipal scientific research projects, as well as more than 10 enterprise entrusted projects. Some research achievements on bus big data, bus scheduling and traffic signal timing have been industrialized in cooperation with enterprises. He has published more than 80 papers in important conferences and Chinese core journals (more than 40 papers have been retrieved by the first or corresponding author EI and SCI), published two English monographs, and participated in one national industry standard, applied for and has been authorized more than 30 domestic and foreign patents, 15 software copyrights, and have been selected as the second level young and middle-aged technology leading talents in Nantong 226, the six peak talents in Jiangsu Province, the young technology talents in transportation and transportation, and the blue sky young scholar of Civil Aviation University of China. He has won more than 10 awards for scientific research achievements such as excellent natural science papers at the municipal and provincial levels, and have been awarded as young professionals in Jiangsu Province and Nantong City 15 honors at or above the school level, including Outstanding Master and Apprentice of Nantong Qinglan Project. Prof. Lidong Zhang Shandong Jiaotong University, China | Profile: Zhang Lidong, born in 1979 in Mengyin, Shandong, holds a PhD in engineering and graduated from the School of Control Science and Engineering, Shandong University. His lectures include "Automatic Control of Station Signal", "Introduction to Railway", "Object Oriented Programming", and "Vehicle Networking Technology". He has been engaged in research of intelligent transportation for over ten years, and have published 20 papers, including 15 SCI/EI indexed, 1 authorized invention patent, and 4 utility model patents. His main research interests are traffic signal control algorithms, traffic flow theory modeling, system integration, and software and hardware development. |
Assoc. Prof. Jianxun Cui Harbin Institute of Technology, China | Profile: Cui Jianxun, male, associate professor at the School of Transportation Science and Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology, and chief engineer at the Unmanned Equipment Center of Chongqing Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology. He mainly engages in research in the fields of intelligent transportation systems and connected automated vehicles. He has successively led five national level projects, including autonomous driving BEV ambient sensing, short-term traffic flow prediction based on deep learning, and industrial level autonomous driving virtual simulation testing platform, Published over 20 SCI/SSCI search papers, authorized over 20 invention patents, published 4 academic monographs, and received 4 provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards. |
